The Mintaka-G unit has a 5.7” QVGA screen
with an embedded microprocessor, Ethernet, RS232C serial interfaces
(incorporating a 5v supply) and discrete digital inputs and outputs allowing
integration with conveyor or other automation systems..
The Mintaka-G readily interfaces to differing peripherals, such as DC Tooling ,
Barcode Readers, Tag Readers, Label Printers, Track interface as well as an
Ethernet network and the Operator.
Using the Venom-SC operating system, the Mintaka-G is easily programmed to carry
out a range of differing process control and automation tasks.
Sorion’s Sextans sequence engine
enables a network of Mintaka-Gs and PCs to be deployed on a production line and
the management and process definitions are carried out remotely from a
supervisory PC.
Sorion’sOrionTM Quality,
Traceability and Reporting database system provides real time build status
taking inputs from Mintaka-Gs and other network devices.
