Certificate of PCI DSS Merchant Compliance
Sorion has always prided itself on the quality of it's process and procedures. Recently we set up our online shop and started to take payments via credit and payment cards. We have always treated customer information with the greatest of respect, and securely.
Due to world-wide ongoing credit card fraud, merchants are recommended to be assessed as to their card handling processes and IT security.
Sorion started the process on the 20th May 2010 and was certified as compliant on the 1st June 2010.
By reviewing a company's procedures and measures in place to protect customer information and by performing a PCI security scan of our outward facing IT infrastructure, Security Metrics have certified that Sorion Electronics Ltd is compliant with the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), endorsed by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB card brands.
