25th anniversary open day celebrations

Sorion Electronics Team Photo 10 SepTo mark our 25th anniversary and to celebrate our most successful year since the company was started in 1990, we hosted an open day at our offices earlier in September, which saw over 100 people attend.

The open day proved to be a huge success and it was great to spend time with so many of our customers and suppliers, many of whom had travelled a fair distance, as well as our employees, family members and local business associates.

Sir Albert Bore, elected Councillor for Birmingham Ladywood and Leader of the Labour Group of Birmingham City Council, attended as Guest of Honour. Sir Albert Bore gave a speech in which he commented: “Sorion is a true success story demonstrating how hard work, dedication, coupled with talented people can see a company come through recession and grow year on year. Sorion is a great example of the talent that Birmingham and the West Midlands has within electronics, engineering and manufacturing.

“I enjoyed the time I spent at Sorion’s manufacturing facility and it was interesting to speak with so many of their employees and customers and to see working demonstrations of their test equipment.”

Thank you to everyone who attended and we truly hope you enjoyed yourselves.
