Sorion Technology Open Morning – Thursday 2 February 2017
We are hosting an open morning at Sorion’s offices which will include a series of seminars demonstrating how manufacturing businesses can maximise the potential of shop floor guided assembly, end-of-line electrical testing and how they can fully utilise build data to maximise efficiencies, embracing what is now called “Industry 4.0”.
The morning will commence at 09.30 and finish at 12.30 for lunch where there will be opportunity to network and meet the Sorion team. This is a rare and insightful chance to take a look behind the scenes at the very latest in cutting edge intelligent guided assembly and end-of-line electrical test technologies.

Made in the Midlands is a professional network of senior decision makers of Manufacturing and Engineering firms in the Midlands.

Spreading the word in 2016 & 2017
2016 saw Sorion exhibit at Automechanika Birmingham in June and at Advanced Engineering and The Manufacturing Management Show in November. All three shows provided us with the opportunity meet new prospective customers and I’m pleased to say we have won orders as a direct result of the shows.
We have rebooked The Manufacturing Management Show in 2017 and we have also booked to exhibit at The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo in 2017, which is the UK’s only dedicated exhibition in response to Industry 4.0. This show runs in tandem with Advanced Engineering on 1st & 2nd November 2017 at the NEC Birmingham.
We have been re-accredited the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard
We are delighted to confirm that we have been successful in our re-accreditation of the ISO9001:2008 standard by Lloyds Register.
2017 will see Sorion work towards the transition to the new ISO9001:2015 standard.
