From the team at Sorion Electronics, we would like to say thank you to all our customers for your support throughout 2023.

Our offices will close for the Christmas Holidays at 12pm on Friday 22nd December. We will re-open as normal on Tuesday 2nd January.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a successful start to 2024.

2023 has been a great year for Sorion. We have worked on a variety of exciting projects with both existing and new customers and continued to invest in product development.

We would like to thank our customers for the trust they have placed in our mobile robot solutions, assembly systems and end of line test systems and look forward to working with you in 2024.

We are proud to announce that Sorion is now a Certified System Integrator for Universal Robots.

The combination of Sorion’s engineering expertise, customer application experience and the incredible power and adaptability of Universal Robots’ cobots ensures our customers benefit from effective, fast, and seamless collaborative robot adoption.

As we continue to see strong interest in robotics from manufacturing companies, we are happy to announce that we have just won two significant orders for robotic systems.

Both systems are for existing customers investing in collaborative and mobile robotics for the first time and we are delighted to support them on their journey.

Sorion takes part in the MiR Online AMR Expo On 27th September MiR will be hosting a dedicated MiRGo event on their online exhibition platform MiR World. Sorion Electronics once again opened its doors and welcomed customers and partners to a Technology Day on Wednesday 12th July. Visitors had the opportunity to see Sorion’s latest technologies in action, with live demonstrations given throughout the day.

Sorion is now a member of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, recognising our commitment to the aerospace industry.

Being a member of the MAA will prove to be a valuable resource for Sorion, allowing us to network whilst sharing information and opportunities with other members.

We have extended the capabilities of Fleetware AMR management software with the ability to handle and track shelves.

Fleetware is now able to track and handle both simple shelves that can be delivered and collected from a location and automated conveyor shelves that can deliver and collect goods from automated machines will full docking and control interface.

The Sorion team will return to IntraLogisteX, the UK’s largest exhibition for the intralogistics industry.

Visitors at the show will be able to see a demonstration of a MiR250 Shelf Carrier integrated with shelves and a docking conveyor.

As part of our commitment to cyber security, we have become Cyber Essentials certified to provide peace of mind to our customers that we are protected against the most common types of cyber threats such as phishing, malware and password breaches.

While we have always taken our data security seriously, going the extra step to become certified reassures our customers and the businesses we work with.
