2022 has been a great year for Sorion. We have worked on a variety of exciting projects with both existing and new customers and continued to invest in product development.

On 1st December MiR are hosting an online event focusing on mobile robotics in automotive manufacturing. We will be there as speakers and give you insight into how you can ensure success in the process of introducing AMRs.
Sorion has recently achieved Certified System Integrator status for Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR).
The partnership was officially confirmed by Adrian Howe of MiR at the recent Advanced Engineering exhibition
Part of the Sorion team visited the MiR headquarters in Denmark to take part in specialist MiR mobile robot training.
Part of MiR’s Certified System Integrator Program, the MiR expert training helped strengthen our team’s knowledge to optimally deploy MiR mobile robots.
The Sorion team will return to the NEC in November for Advanced Engineering 2022, the UK’s largest advanced manufacturing trade show.
Our technology partner ProGlove will also be joining us on the stand. Visitors at the show will be able to see a demonstration of Sorion’s Mobile Robot system integrated with ProGlove’s wireless barcode scanners.
Join us at 9.30am on 12th October for a webinar with Nick Hartt, Sorion’s Managing Director. Nick will be talking about our Fleetware software that our team have developed to add value to the MiR robots in complex movement environments.
We are thrilled that the eFulfilment solution designed by our team has helped Wincanton win Gold at the eCommerce Awards 2022.
The award winning solution is a blend of autonomous mobile robots and wearable technology, allowing Wincanton to process orders quicker and with no errors at their dedicated new eCommerce facility in Nuneaton.
The ProGlove family of barcode scanners are industry leading wireless scanners designed to be mounted on the hand, providing instant, reliable scanning of barcodes whilst leaving the operator with both hands free to focus on their job.
The LEO scanner integrates seamlessly over Bluetooth directly with Sorion’s Sextans process control software for manufacturing and warehouse fulfilment operations.
The Sorion team had a good day visiting our technology partner Flowstore, one of the UK’s largest storage and material handling companies.
