Pick to Light is a light-directed picking technology that increases productivity and efficiency in picking, putting, sorting and assembly operations.
We have put together a standard Pick to Light kit that allows you to get started with a smaller project or to test the technology on a pilot project before scaling up.
QUICK INSTALLATION AND TRAINING
Our starter kits include all the hardware and software you need to get started with minimum setup and installation time. The pick to light hardware was designed to be easy to mount and reconfigure. The light modules snap into heavy-duty, extruded aluminium open channels secured to existing racks or shelves.
Sorion’s Sextans software is used to configure and guide the picking the process. The processes are set up in an intuitive way so that you are ready to go in just a short time.
The operation of the system is very intuitive and speeds up training time of new employees.

PICK TO LIGHT MODULES
The starter kit contains 10 Standard Pick to Light Modules already connected to the AI cable and aluminium ducting
The confirmation button on the modules is available in a seven colour option. This opens up a variety of additional process quality improvements by using different light colour assignments.

SMALL ETHERNET CONTROLLER

PICK TO LIGHT SOFTWARE
Driven by Sorion’s pick-to-light control engine, the system interfaces with the core Sextans-RT software, allowing easy configuration.
This enables full integration with a guided assembly system, with assembly jigs and fixtures and web-based Orion traceability and reporting.
Sorion’s software informs and records the part reference, which bin the part is in, the quantities that need picking for each build variant and a part description.

POWER AND COMMUNICATION
