SORION AT INTRALOGISTEX

Sorion Electronics will be bringing their expertise to the logistics industry at the IntraLogisteX exhibition between 1-2 July 2021 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

At their first appearance at IntraLogisteX, Sorion will showcase Fleetware, their management and analytics software suite for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). 

Fleetware was developed to enable a fleet of mobile robots to work together as a team, helping logistics companies to streamline workflow, maximise efficiency and reduce operation costs.

Until recently, mobile robots have mainly been performing simple, repetitive tasks. Whilst this approach is suitable for many logistics applications, it cannot be applied in complex warehouse environments that require a dynamic route/mission assignment.

Sorion’s Fleetware was designed to overcome this limitation by providing a flexible management system for mission assignment, with real time adaptation to changing demands: on-route mission reassignment / cancellation.

The system continuously processes data about the fleet, monitoring every robot’s status including charge level, location, job status, robot capability and more. Then it intelligently assigns jobs like material pickups, drop-offs, and battery charging to the right robot in real-time.
